FFWD’17

Dubai is no longer just your one stop vacation destination, it’s also emerging as a real fashion city, with some very stylish people. Fashion Forward 2017 showed just how stylish Dubaians are. The annual show is held to showcase the collections from upcoming and already established designers in the region.

The 3-day event saw various fashion and lifestyle enthusiasts, bloggers, designers and society influencers swarm D3.

From the runways of Kristina Fidelskaya to Abed Mahfouz, there was no shortage of regional talent.

Amato’s show was charged with subliminal messages about war.

The runway was transformed into a battlefield, with a powerful performance by one of the models ending with a message – “war is stupid”.

But FFWD’17 wasn’t just about the designers and their collections, it served as a hub where industry folk could meet and mingle, looking fabulous while doing so. Let’s not forget the very educating fashion talks, as well as the DJ and food vendors that made sure the crowd kept moving.
